Opening day at Killington is here already. The K-1 Express Gondola will provide uploading and downloading from 9:00 a.m-3:30 p.m. on Friday for season pass and express card holders only. Skiers and riders will use the Peak Walkway to access Rime and will return to the K-1 Express Gondola via a short walk on the Peak Walkway.
Early season conditions will exist. Skiing and riding will be on advanced terrain only on Rime trail, providing roughly 600 vertical feet of terrain. Snowmaking may be in progress throughout the day. No easier terrain will be available at this time.
We're kicking off the season with fun giveaways throughout the base area (limited quantity) and complimentary lunch served from 11:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at K-1 Café on Friday as well.
Plus, celebrate the start of the longest season in the East with an après-party at Mahogany Ridge including drink specials, live music with Joey Leone from 12:30-3:30 p.m. and raffle prizes.
